I went out in the middle of the night to stand in line for the HBP, we've had the hottest summer ever and right then it started to rain. But at least I got to share my umbrella with a cute 18-year old boy. He was very tall and offered to hold the umbrella too. Missed ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=92.1)
pingviini and M since we all thought it would be tonight. I realised it wasn't a quarter to twelve when I called the bookstore and rushed out in the night.
We waited for one hour and 40 minutes. Watching cute little people dressed up like Hogwarts students rush by, clutching their books. Some where shouting made-up spoilers as they ran by, the cutest one was: "OH MY GOD, Ron and Harry are Getting MARRIED!"
A bunch of drunken guys (not standing in line) sang "I WANT MY HARRY!" as they passed.
"So do we!" someone in line shouted.
Was thoroughly glad that I didn't check on LJ before reading, since there was an abundance of trolls in some communities posting scans revealing the end.
I have started to read it all over again.
I wasn't really surprised that Dumbledore died. Sad, but not surprised.
The Snarry, though, poof, there it went. Some people on the flist has comforting thoughts about it though. And explanations why Snape isn't really bad. Fandom is a comforting place.
And I've always liked Potions Master Snape, Severitus, impoverished Gentry Snape and all that. I've always liked Snape, period. But now... poof.
Well, there's always the AU...and I sincerley hope that people with good!Snape fics won't stop writing them.
As for the H/D...I'll get back to that.
All I can say is that I've never loved Harry more.
